"Left is Right" is a small, obscure, lo-fi band that creates fascinating musical tidbits on outdated, outmoded, gnarly equipment. It could be called a post-rock trio, but it'd need to add a few members to do so. It's arguably my favorite band, especially since I'm one of its founding members.

So, if you like lo-fi, you just might like Left is Right. I've placed a few of our mp3's here for your listening pleasure.

Cry Baby Cry From the Beatle's White Album
This is a fantastic song, though a less than optimal recording. Each of the song's tracks was recorded in one take on a slightly stale Tascam 424 four track cassette recorder.

Esther's Day Guided by Voices from Bee Thousand
A great little song, and yet another nasty recording from LiR. Certainly worth a download if you've got a cable modem or DSL.
size:[1.4M]

It's a Shame About Ray Lemonheads
Not only a great song, but quite true too. This is one of the three songs recorded on March 3rd, 2001 (two more above this one), this is possibly the best. It's quite raw and possibly downright irksome, but a lot of fun.
size:[2.2M]
