This is what it's all about. This is why we are leaving the planet Earth in search of the mysterious planet Ocean. Somewhere out there we hope to meet the world of our dreams. The adventures told here are fragments of a greater story that cannot be imparted with mere words; it can only be lived. Perhaps the act of commiting these bits of our lives to words and pictures steals from them some essence of magical reality that can only exist within us. But sharing them with others increases their reality at the same time. So we share them with you.
Dry Tortugas and Key West July 29th to August 10th, 2000 updated Dec 06, 2000
This was an incredible trip for us from our home in Saint Petersburg, Florida to the Dry Tortugas and Key West. It was our first long voyage in September Song. We sailed out of Tampa Bay into the Gulf of Mexico and then offshore another twenty miles before turning south towards paradise.
